Immediately meetings were held, appointments were made and the name Citadel was chosen for the yearbook, The advertising committee roamed the countryside soliciting all the wonderful busif ness folks for the advertisements. Then the big subscription drive got under way, and the stuf dents showed their enthusiasm for the new prof ject. Along in November the Seniors started worrying about how they would look on film. So after a little red tape they journeyed to Leone's in Fort Wayriie, had their portraits made, and signed a contract for taking shots of the other students. Snow drifts and poor attendance slowed this process up somewhat but everyone was happy and washed their faces when the big day finally came, The literature and photographs were then sent to the printers and this is it. Now meet the staff of the Citadel as appointed by Ivirs. Kincaid. First there's Alice Porter, edif torlinfchief, and really in there boosting all the while. Robert Bleke, assistant editor came next and worked with the editor in promoting the Citadel. Morris Bracht, business manager, and Jack Stone, his assistant, tackled the financial problems with speed and accuracy. Dolores Soule, Lorraine Price, Catherine Pepple, Ruth Warner and Margaret Seidel, members of the literary board ably handled the written material. Mary Ray, publicity manager was in charge of all pub' licity for the annual. Max Waterson, Helen Brown and Gene Hadley were the photographers responsible for scaring the wits out of people by flashing their cameras at just the right moment. Giving us a bird's-eye view of the sports world at good old H.H.S. was Gaylord Warner, Gerald Amstut: and Elvin Gump. Mardell Smith, Jean Malcolm, Roland Leininger, Keith Johnson and Roderick Johnson, members of the advertising d in boosting our advertising. Doris Huber, Violet Buchanan, and Elnora Miller served as manager over the typists. Barbara Hu' ber, manager of the circulation department was assisted by Glenn Ott, Arlene Russell and Harold Freeman. They sold subscriptions and attended to the circulation of the Citadel. Last but cerf tainly not least our splendid supervisor, Mrs. committee, helpe Kincaid.
