I 1982 ECHO pays tribute to r. alter Zeltner It was 1968. Alyce Burtis could no longer advise the Echo because the newly founded Instructional Media Center required all her time and attention. The Echo needed a new advisor, so Walter Zeltner be- gan his term as Hunterdon Cen- tralis yearbook advisor. This year, fourteen years later, the Echo is dedicated to Mr. Zeltner in appreciation for the time and en- ergy he devoted to establishing high quality standards for the yearbook. People do not realize the amount of care and effort he gave the year- book. Without him, many of the past yearbooks would not have ma- terialized. Mr. Zeltner had to face many deadlines during his thirteen years as advisor. He spent many long nights at the school, working until the early morning hours. He made numerous trips to the publisher and to the photographer in Gettysburg and Bensalem, Pennsylvania. A question comes to mind. Why did he do it? He was faced with many frustrations, and most stu- dents were unaware that he was do- ing the work. The answer is simple, however. He enjoyed the satisfac- tion the yearbook provides for any- one involved in its production. He was proud of the many outstanding yearbooks he produced.During his years as advisor, the Echo won nu- merous national industry awards for creativity and was used as a sample over the entire east coast. The Echo takes this opportunity to express its appreciation for his many years of tireless effort. This year's staff has chosen to dedicate the 1982 Echo to Mr. Walter Zeltner and would like to say, Thank you, Mr. Zeltner. 'inn
