Easter time at the Orphanage. Sfudenf Counci The Student Council is the representative student government whose members are elected by the student body. The services of the Coun- cil have been numerous. Perhaps the most memorable activity is -the Christmas party held for the children at the Hopewell Orphanage. Also, due to the success of having a foreign ex- change student in our school last year, -spon- sored by the Key Club, this year we have the pleasure of entertaining our charming guest, Kertsi Svensen. Kit, who is from Sweden, has been staying at the home of a Student Coun- cil member, Dolores Lotz, throughout the school year. Other activities include the construction of a sports bulletin board, raising funds for the new scholarship program begun this year, and promoting a clothing drive for the needy child- ren in the South. Wi-th such success behind it, the Council will continue to serve the school and bring honor -to Hunterdon Central.
