As a member of the club, the girls have the opportunity to discover what it means to be God's creation in today's world. The girls strive for Christian ideals both on and off the playing field.

BOY'S FCA PresidentScott Taylor, Vice president-Tim Davis The F.C.A. is an organization that helps students incorporate Christian ideas in their daily activities. They have group huddles, study the Bible, and learn to develop Christian attitudes toward all facets of life. The club performs community services for groups such as the senior citizens. Fund raising projects are also a part of their activities. 28

ANCHOR The Anchor Club is a girls club sponsored by the Pilot Club of Gastonia and is open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Miss Hamrick and Miss Mitchell are the teacher sponsors. The club colors are green and gold. Each month the Anchor Club has a service project that benefits the school or community. In addition, members visit different churches in Gastonia.
