Bobby Weissman and Ruth Herzberg, and all the others who, although not on the Committee, gave us a boost with the Knocks and Boosts. Miss Dorothy Bush for affixing her D.L.B. to our copy. MOVING UP SONG fCalifornia, Here I Comcfj Hi there Seniors! You were great! But here's the class of '48. The midterms, the endterms, We have survived. The meetings, the projects, We've supported all the drives, And now we're Seniors at the top, We're the term no one can stop. Seventh term is moving up, Hunter High School, here We come! SING MEDLEY When We Hrst came to Hunter High, Our Mama's were all beaming, But after midterm cards came round Papa woke up screaming! I've got those third term blues- Why didn't Euclid go and climb a big palm tree? I ought to tussle with my bustle, But I wrangle with an angle- 'Tain't his kind of Hgure that is bothering me! We finally reached fifth term, Oh blessed be Fifth term! We all how can Waltz and prance. We've reached that great stage, That wonderful age, When we can all go to the dance! We never dreamed in our short life A term could be so full of strife. Six majors made our hair turn gray We never saw sun or the light of day. We had to pass three Regents tough, Though we all thought one was quite enough. When you reach sixth term- Change schools! MARCHING SONG CRangcr Songj The bugles and drums tell of our advance. The Seniors are coming to take their stands. We're marching todayg We're coming to say: We've caused a sensation In reaching our destination. '48 passed the test, Seniors are quite the best, And heights of glory Now end the story. Our great endeavor Will be remembered forever.
