Although it's so messy, We think that it's fun. Think how it'l1 be When it's finally done! EIGHTH TERM:. Oh, do you remember a few years ago- That young bunch of freshies that worried us so? Well, now they are learned and leaving, poor things Be calm, worried critics, for Time clips all wings! We used to be quite foolish When we were young and gay. lAnd though We're now much older We're glad we're still that waylj The world is all ahead of you, Our teachers used to say- And though we've grown much older since, It seems to stay that way. So many roads spread out for us to take We must choose one-there's no alternative- While down the other ways we dimly see Our other selves who now will never live. Our future seems uncertain at With problems we're perplexed Oh well, we'll still look forward To the future after next!
