Having transited safely all the vvay to Guantanamo Bay, the real test of navigational skill began. Tvvo or more times each day the navigation team was tested and retested in a array of demanding exercises: piloting through a minefield vvithout a gyroscope, precision anchoring, and lovv-visibility piloting. A great deal vvas learned, and by the last day, OPSXNAV had demonstrated the ability to meet the demands of the exercises.
