Basketball For the First time in many years, the -I.V. Basketball team had a highly successful season. The many victories can be attributed largely to the teamwork developed by Mr. George Selleck. The J.V. team has definitely fulfilled its purpose this year of preparing boys for the Varsity squad. Although the team was hurt by the loss of Jim Byer, who was promoted to the Varsity after his fine showing in the first two games, it was still able to maintain its excellent record. The team was sparked by the play-making ability of Chris Farley and Rob Kay, and the continual high scoring of John Stewart. Defensively, jim Steiger and Lew Wilson did an excellent job of rebounding. Next year, these J.V. players will reinforce the Varsity in positions formerly held by Seniors.
