Although the 359 football team did not have a very successful season, it received a great deal of experience for future years. After dropping three straight games. the -I.V. gridders faced the Pcddie squad. Led by Tom Johnson, who scored after a 65 yard run, the Hun team came out victorious, l3f0. The second T.D. was scored by Phil Le Boutillier after the recovery of a fumble on the Peddic 6-yd. line. The only other game of the season that the J.V. won was against Pennington Prep. 6-O. The lone touchdown was scored by Charlie LeFebure on a pass by Sandy Blain. Thus, the team completed the season with a total of two wins and Eve loses. The Varsity coaches. Mr. lVaterman and Mr. Ball, plan next year to fill the vacancies in the Varsity squad with such players as Tim Wlalsh, Torn Johnson, Sandy Blain, and Pete Spiller in the backfield and Marshall Waller, Bart Howley, Ross Speir, Thorn Watkins, and Robbie Whaley on the line. . .Football Varsity Football HUN OPPOSING TEANIS 6 Pennington Prep 28 Solebury ......... 32 Germantown ....
