DEDICATION Dedicated to his work as assistant headmaster of the school, Colonel Donohue strives to make the Hun School one of the leading preparatory schools in the country. Beyond this, he acts as an inspiring force to all in the school. Refusing to falter in his high ideals, he drives hard toward realiza- tion of his Hrm beliefs. As a teacher of mathematics, he is the best. Always encouraging, patient, and helpful to the slower student, he nevertheless keeps the brighter boys on their toes. As administrator and discipline head the colonel is stern yet fair-minded. For this job he gets little praise and much criticism from the student. How- ever, his motives and decisions reflect his deep concern for the welfare of the individual and the group. We will not soon forget the long talksf' the extra help in math before College Boards, nor the encouragements and congratulations given us by the Colonel. The school is his life, and he gives all of himself for its benefit, which is to say, for us. With deepest respect and affection, we dedicate the 1959-60 Edgerstounian to Joseph Patrick Donohue. 7
