Lipson. 41 Although the word 'sophomoric' has come to mean one who is immature or fool- ish, this year's class is, for most part, a group of intelligent, sincere young men, many of whom are planning, even now, careers of great importance to their coun- try. The class is divided between the day students and the boarders, There are nine day students and nine boarders. The board- ers have three boys from foreign countries among them, two boys from South America and one from Saudi Arabia. The day stu- dents come from the areas around Prince- KOH and Trenton. The boarders among the sophomores hail from New York and New Jersey. The place of the sophomore class this year has become one of more importance than formerly. The class has taken more of a say in the affairs of school government. They have members ftwoj on the Student Council and also class meetings where any subject may be brought to the attention of the Council. Many of its members have high scholastic ratings, one or two are on the high honor roll. Several boys are in major sports with a couple on the various varsities. There is even a sophomore on the Headmaster's list. It may be said with certainty that this year's sophomore class is one of the best.
