GEORGE RAYMOND GRIGGS Birthdate: March 4, 1938 George, who has been here the longest of any senior, four years, lives in Princeton with his grandparents,1his home being in Daly City, California, He has been on the Student Council three of the four years. He has played varsity football and basketball and was crew coxswain for three years, and, in his senior year is part of the team itself. George has also been instrumental on dance committees. JACK EARL HERMAN Birthdate: May 29, 1937 Since Jack came to the Hun School, two years ago, he has been active in student governmental affairs including: the Student Council, the Council Executive Committee, and the Game Room Council, and he is to be Alumni President of the Class of '55, Be- sides his activity in the Glee Club for which he is accompanist and of which he is presi- dent, Jack is, academically, the highest ranking student in the class. Jack lists golf as his major interest. Photography, tennis, music and literature follow. He plans to study medicine at either Yale or Princeton. 22

ALEXANDER FORSYTH Birthdate: March 27, 1936 Sandy, who was born in Princeton, New Jersey, came to Hun from Princeton High School. He was the center for the varsity basketball team and was very active in intramurals. Spider' plans to enter the United States Air Force and intends to make it his career. af xx , ww ANTHONY FRANKFURTER Birthdate: March 16, 1938 Tony, who comes from New York City, came to Hun for his senior year. He was active with the soccer team and also par- ticipated in intramurals. Tony is very in- terested in rock 'n roll' music. Weenie plans a career in Law.

WILLIAM IRELAND HOLDEN Birthdate: July 16, 1937 Bill, or, as his contemporaries call him, Toad, Came to us this year from Borden- town Military Institute to participate actively in the athletic program here at Hun. A co- captain of the football squad, he has been active on the basketball and baseball teams. Bill's main talent lies in his art work and his major interest centers about nature study. He plans to enter Bowdoin next fall to study engineering. K Ei . fmt THOMAS FREDRICK JOHNSON Birthdate: July 28, 1936 Although Tom has been with us for only one year, he has participated in many ac- tivities which include THE MALL, the EDGERSTOUNIAN, the Glee Club, The Quar- tet, and store manager. He has served on the Game Room Council and is co-chairman of the Dance Committee. Next year, Tom will be Alumni Secretary of the Class of '55, Tom's great hobby is the theatre, and in connection with it, theatre-going, writing, literature, music and HiFi. Golf is his sport. He hopes to enter the Columbia University School of Dramatic Arts.
