Faculty FREDERICK L. FREEMAN teaches Latin and German and assists in coaching tennis and intra- murals. I-Ie is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and has done graduate work at Johns Hop- kins University. Mr. Freeman has had many years of tutoring and teaching experience. HANFORD ALDEN FARNUM is a teacher of English. He holds an A.B. degree from the University of New Hampshire and has done gradu- ate work at Middlebury, Oxford, Harvard, and Clark. Mr. Farnum has taught English in some of the secondary schools in this country. JOHN FRENCH, JR., teacher of French and Spanish, was graduated from Williams College. Mr. French has done graduate work at Colum- bia, the Sorbonne and Princeton, from which he holds the degree of Master of Arts. He is working for his Doctorate in Modern Languages at the present time. He has had many years of teaching experience.

Faculty ARCHIBALD L. DANIELS, teacher of mathematics and sci- ences, left the faculty of Princeton University with Dr. Hun to found the School thirty-five years ago. I-le holds the degree of Doctor of Philosophy from Yale University. ZIGMOND EMERY is the Di- rector of Athletics. Prior to com- ing to the Hun School, Mr. Emery spent twelve years in professional baseball during which time he was with the Philadelphia Phillies, the New York Giants, and the Cleve- land Indians Organizations. During World War II he was a physical training instructor in the Air Corps. Mr. Emery attended Allegheny Col- lege. WILLIAM G. DRAKE joined the Science Department of the Hun School in 1954. He graduated from the College of Agriculture at Rut- gers University and is working for a Master's degree from Cornell University. Mr. Drake is an active member of the American Orchid Society. Sf'

Faculty THOMAS HILBISH teaches mu- sic. He is Director of Choral Music at Princeton High School and the local Methodist Church. He holds a Master's degree from Westminster Choir College and has done gradu- ate work at Indiana University and Rutgers University. JOHN M. KAUFFMAN, a grad- uate of Princeton University, joined the Hun School Faculty in February to teach English and Geography and to assist with alumni affairs. A journalist for a number of years before he came to Hun, Mr. Kauff- mann has been serving as adviser for School publications. CHARLES R. HOLLENBACH, teacher of Social Sciences and in- structor in Public Speaking, holds the Master of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He has taught in independent and public schools, has been on the staff of the Rutgers University Extension Division, and has had experience in administrative fields as well as the classroom.
