A creed is a body of principles or beliefs. Those who profess faith in a creed subscribe to its eternal, continuous, and everlasting truth. By its very nature, then, it partalces of the divine, it transcends human fraility, and it contains within itself, for those who ponder its precepts, an attracting power to raise men above themselves. The purpose of l-fumes High School is to quicken the minds and to adorn the spirits of youth, lt is fitting, therefore, that it have a creed. lt does have one whose principles are eternal and inspiring, Although you see it daily on the Walls on your class roorn, although you repeat it frequent- ly in devotionals, permit it never to become common place in your esteem.
