A creed is a body of principles or beliefs. Those who profess faith in a creed subscribe to its eternal, continuous, and everlasting truth. By its very nature, then, it partalces of the divine, it transcends human fraility, and it contains within itself, for those who ponder its precepts, an attracting power to raise men above themselves.
