The group, composed of about 40 girls, was again under the leadership of Gertrude Kortman and Bonnie Tritz. Wearing white blouses and dark skirts and ties, the girls made a pleasing appearance at the games, as they marched in formation drills to the accompaniment of the band. This organization has prompted school spirit and good sportsmanship among the students of H. H. S. Un- der Herman Hunter's coaching many promising players were developed for the next year's squad. They were defeated by some very strong teams, but managed to win once over every team except Bridgewater The team went strong at the first of the season but were eliminated from the race by losing to Bridge- water, Montrose and Spencer. The team also lost two non-Conference games to Chester and Colton. ji?

Having a very small schedule of only four games, they came through victorious in one of their four cn- counters, losing to the Montrose and Canistota teams in very close and evenly matched games.
