The class lost none of its pupils, but welcomed one, Irene Hansen of Beresford, who enrolled in March. Shortly before Christmas a farewell party was given, honoring Ila Pippett, who moved to Brandon,So. Dak. However, lla returned to Humboldt to finish the term. A three-act play, NHobgoblin Housen, directed by Miss Rasmussen, was presented on March 30. This play was given during the second semester, instead of the first, as was usually done, because of the four one- act class plays that were given in October. The pro- ceeds of this play were used to sponsor the Junior- Senior Banquet. The Banquet was given on April 29, and was art- istically designed to represent a Japanese garden scene. The decorating for this banquet was super- vised by Miss Rose who was ably assisted by the fol- lowing committees: Decorating Committee: Gertrude Webster, Chairman, Lois Harden, lla Pippett, Veronica Mangan, Peter Gortmaker, and Mil- dred La Pierre. Entertainment Committee: Vernique Reccy, Cleve Eno, and Dorothy McDon- ell. Menu Committeegg Pat Kapaun, Pat Buchheim, and Dorothy Bunning.
