Previously, seniors had attended Career Day, but it was decided that the juniors should attend so they would be better able to choose their electives as seniors. The big event in the life of a junioris planning and presenting the Junior-Senior Banquet and Prom which were May 7 this year. The planning committee consisted of ten industrious and secretive students: Banquet Decoration - Shirley Peterson, Dance Committee-Rae Barsness, Invi- tations-Kay Rokenbrodt, Program-Velma Jensen, Sketch- ing and Drawing Knstine Andersen Gym Decoration Marvin Andersen and the class officers The class officers who were elected IH the fall, Emory Andersen, Presidentg Sherryl Stevenson, Vice- President: Jan Hill, Secretary, Tom Eichler, Treasurer, and the rest of the junior class, which is 93 strong, faith- fully sold confections between quarters and during the halves at basketball games in order to add to their treas- ury. The junior class had four new additions to its roster this year. They were Janice Rademacker, Margaret Schultz, Kaare Mehl, and Russ Miller. The juniors are sponsored by Miss Steege, Mrs. Barton, and Mr. Hakeman.
