HELEN RANK RICHARD SCHULTZ HEL EN RA NK Ellsworth College B,A, Mrs. Rank taught four classes of freshmen and one class of sopho- more English this year. Coaching over seventy-five students in various phases of speech and play work was also part of her contributton to Humboldt High School She sponsored D of D and the freshman class Collecting old glass and anttque furniture are her hobbies RICHARD SCHULTZ Central College Whetherour basketball and baseball teams wln or lose Mr Schultz is behind the boys to encourage them and grve them a winning sptrtt He also lnstructs business general science and biology classes and ftfth and stxth grade physrcal education Dunng the past summer Mr Schultz managed and played on a professional baseball team BERNICE SMITH Grinnell College Many students enjoyed listemng to Mrs Smith s anecdotes as she taught Spamsh I and Il and ot1eEngl1sh class She directed the assembly committee and the Register Mrs Smith is well known for her wtlling ness to help students and her pet peeve ts the use of the word guy LYDIA WOGEN 5,- St Olaf College The administratton was very grateful this year when Mrs Wogen consented to accept the Job of teaching history full time Besides teaching four classes of U S history and one class of world hrstory she also sponsors the freshman class and has charge of the news tests Wteldrng a gold club takes up most of her spare t1me BERNICE SMITH .1 LYDIA WOGEN S i Gregersen Kramer and Moench inspect Moench's latest agriculture project 24
