Choraliers. sextet, madrigal. trio, and several soloists were also under his direction. Mr. Anderson comes from Wan- amingo. Minnesota and he recently spent two years asa Chaplain's Assistant in the army. DORIS BARTON Iowa State College Tangled thread burned food and broken dishes were some of the problems Mrs Barton had to contend with teaching homemaking I and II to freshmen and sophomore girls She also sponsored the Junior class and taught adult evening school Mrs Barton spent the summer va cationing at Okobojr ROBERT BERKEMEIR State University of Iowa B A M A Four classes of junior English and one economics and C1VlCS class were on Mr Berkemeir s agenda this year Sponsoring debate and ex temporaneous speaking also helped to keep him occupied During the summer he was employed at the DeKalb plant JOSEPH CARNEY Iowa State College The second semester saw the addition of one new teacher Mr Car ney who taught classes in general sctence geography and psychology He recently spent two years ID the army asa Chaplain s Assistant Mr Carney enjoys music tn hrs spare time ,ss 'Q 1 Keith Day and Gary Blomker inspect a model Globe theater 20 B.S.
