She worked with juniors and seniors by way of classes in psychology, geography and grammar. XV. GLENN Blil.l,-B.Nl.-S.U.l. like all good musicians Mr. Bell, who taught instrumental music in the grades and high school, likes to hear and play good music. And like all good music teachers, he dislikes persons who sign up to take lessons. but who do not want to practice. Last summer Mr. Bell taught brass instruments at the University of Iowa, and worked on his Masterls degree. DORIS M. ISIQNTLFY-B.A.-l.S.T.C. At the end of a summer of work and fun at lfstes Park, Colorado, Miss Bentley came to Humboldt to take charge of the school's vocal music department. She worked with the young- sters in the grades and with special music groups in high school and junior high. Miss Bentley likes to sing and play, and to hike and cycle-but oh, she despises wide tremolos. GUY LAR'l'lfR-ISS.-Upper Iowa Nlr. Carter attended Drake University during the summer of 1948. doing work that would apply on his Nlaster's degree. When school opened he was back in the science room ready to meet his classes in chemistry. physics. and general science. Nlr.
