Atta Raoufian is an exchange student from Petetshagen, Germanyr She had never heard of Winnemucca until she got the address of her family here, Nevada was the only state that Atta didn't want to go to because she had heard that there were a lot of snakes here. She says that she really likes it here, She likes the mountains, the sagebrush, the Chicken McNuggets, the people, and especially her family. She has a lot of fun with them. There are four kids, so she says that one kid can be puking in the toilet, while the little one cuts his finger, the third one breaks a glass, and the other screams for ice cream. Atta also likes cruising main street, ' getting to know people, and going to the movie theater, Unlike Germany, teenagers enjoy their time here in a lot of different, crazy ways. Atta thinks it's a lot more fun. School is a lot easier, too. There isn't as much stress as in Germany except when they have a vocabulary test, as Atta says She thinks that the school spirit at Lowry is great, but the school should offer tennis Atta says that many things here are similar to Germany: parents tell you to turn down your radio, kids don't like to go to school or doing dishes, and there are parties, although in Germany, the drinking age is 16. One thing Atta doesn't like about Winnemucca is the long distance to the next town. It took her awhile to get used to it. She also doesn't like taking pages of notes in history tit seems like she's copying the entire history ATTA RAOUFIAN bookl, and also the speed limit. She says that nobody is driving what the speed L limit says anywayt Stephan Mueser is an exchange student from Hamm, Germany. He decided to become an exchange student because he wanted to see a different country and meet different people. He says he was getting bored at home and needed a change, so he decided to come to the United States. The organization placed him at Lowry. Stephan likes just about everything here, particularly, the people and the sagebrush. Although it's very different from Germany, Stephan says he likes Winnemucca. He likes the fact that there is more freedom to choose your classes He says that everything is pretty similar to Germany, except for more casual, not quite as strict as in Germany Stephan likes Winnemucca as it is, and wouldnlt change anything, although he sometimes thinks it's a little too small, He thinks it would be perfect if it was a little closer to Reno Stephan enjoys golfing, hunting, and going to the movies. He also likes the fact that the driving age here is 16, whereas in Getmany it's 18, Although he was not allowed to get his license, he still thinks it's great. av STEPHAN MUESER Exchange Students 63 54 People creme! mndress Jennifer Graham, Keri CassinellD you ought to try dent-u- jennifer, Herrera Take a picture, it lasts longer! wan EstradaJok Sapien, Salvador AvaloQ Gross Bryan, what's in your ear?
