The Buckaroos had a 4-6 that record. Football at Lowry really made a comeback this year. Lowry's top rusher was junior Pat Schroeder who ended the sea- son with 781 yards gained on 126 carries for a 6.3 yard average. Schroeder also finished the season as the team's top defender, recording 52 unassisted tackles and 55 assists from his middle linebacker positions The other top rushers were senior halfbacks Mike Harmon and Ric Grantham Steve Lopes was rated as outstanding lineman, both oftensively and defensively. Casey Arciniega led the defensive secondary with nine interceptions, 31 unassisted tackles, and 30 assists. Wade kicks his 42 yard held goal!
