High School Rodeo Compliments of Sewells Excitement abounded among the bronco busters and bull doggers in Winnemucca as June 19th approached. HJ- RC hosted the State 11. S. Rodeo June 19-22, an event which drew enthusiastic rodeo fans from all over Nevada and climaxed a thrilling rodeo season. The usual tempestuous events, a cutting horse and a Western Belle Queen con- test, added to the intoxica- tion of the State H. S. Rodeo. The four top winners in each event participated in the Nation High School Rodeo held in Gallop, New Mexico.
