Key Club Promotes Easter Seals Key Club members are left to right: Mltch Leann, Ted Wuler, Steve Latrngueta, Tun Bmmgsley. Dave Mendloln. Karen Mendlola, Kurt Krwnw. Dale Memberry, Mark Upshaw, Jana Legu'za, andWIlt Vener. The Lawry High Key Club had quite an active year. Throughout the year the members worked to raise money walling popcorm so that they might attend a Key Club convention in Sac- ramento in April. In addition to aiding their own cause the Key Club members performed several worth- while projects: helped the Kiwanis sell Christmas trees In December, helped with a concession stand for City Lengue Tournaments. in March, uni promed the Easter Seal cun- paign at Lawry duruvg March. Feb- ruary 22 the Key Club sponsored a dance u men Hill with music by T. C. and FrleIdB--I dividend of fun for a hard working service organization. High School Rodeo Compliments of Sewells Excitement abounded among the bronco busters and bull doggers in Winnemucca as June 19th approached. HJ- RC hosted the State 11. S. Rodeo June 19-22, an event which drew enthusiastic rodeo fans from all over Nevada and climaxed a thrilling rodeo season. The usual tempestuous events, a cutting horse and a Western Belle Queen con- test, added to the intoxica- tion of the State H. S. Rodeo. The four top winners in each event participated in the Nation High School Rodeo held in Gallop, New Mexico.
