Science Club Gets The Lead Out The Science Club members in the front row, from left to right: Chris Bctz, Denise Lindley, Philip Buchan, and Glenn Botkin. The Science Club Officers from left to right: Chris Botz, Student Council Representative; Denise Lindley, SecretaryXTreasurer; Philip Buchan, Vice- Prcsident; Glenn Botkin, President. The Science Club started the year with a skit for homecoming and an entry in the homecoming parade. Next, they hold a raffle and sold donuts before and after school as fund raising projects. The Science Clubts main activities were working with a load testing kit obtained from the Shell Oil Company and rewriting the Club Constitution. Compliments of Western Auto

Student Council Officers prepared for their active year by attending a 3 day workshop in Las Vegas where they learned the business of student government and played a lot at, Circus Circus. At home they carried this varied experience into planning both Football and Basket- ball Homecaming activities, and devising a rotation system for their meetings whereby all members attended each time and all organizations WETE equally represented. Student Council also gained their own conference room this year, a legacy from Mr, Dunwn who moved his belvngings into the Nurse's office. 1 Complim'ents of the Taylur Tack

FHA Has Eventful Year FIIA'S hectic year hogan at the new officer installation in October. Shortly afterward thc mombors who worked so diligently in the concession stand during football season received recognition at an awards banquet. District Round-up in Iilko and State Round-up in Reno gave the girls concrete ideas on how to become better citizens and more fulfilled people. The members also participated in various tasty candy 511195 to raise monoy for their annual banquet and their activities, Holiday 0n ICC and horso-bzlck Tiding. Thu banquet, hold in the Spring to honor their Mothers, crowned an eventful year for tho I'HA'erS.
