Principal '59 Message Planning for the future in terms of human needs, abilities, and aspirations is one of the most challenging and complex duties of the educational profession. Today's administra- tors are constantly striving to improve the school curriculum by introducing new ideas, new concepts and new programs. Each year it becomes even more obvious that education is one of the necessities of our life. The democratic aspect of our educational system must not be thought of as a great leveling device which seeks to give each student exactly equal training, but rather as a PRINC IPAL means of guaranteeing that each student be given the opportunity and the assistance to reach his own maximum fulfillment. To the members of me Class of 1965w1 wish to congratulate you on the comple- tion of your high school course of study. SUPERINTENDENT Superintendent 19 Massage It is a pleasure for me to be given an op- portunity to congratulate the Humboldt County High School seniors as a cooperative and energetic class. A high school is rated in a community largely by the cooperation it has among the students, faculty, and parents. This school has been an excellent one in this respect. Energy is the key to the achievement of MR. HENRY NELSON goals and the inspiration needed for an im- proved and better high school. Without energy, a school can become stagnant with no dreams and ideals for greater accomplishments. Your record to get things done has been excellent.
