FOREWORD ch student in Huniholdl Coumy High School has one very important privilege. This privilege is ihe right io n free education. This right is not considered a privilege by some hecausc they do noi realize the resulis which come ham being denieci ii. One needs only Io open a history hook i0 see what an imporiani part education has piayecl in Ihe growih oi our naiion. If it had not been for the weH-eclucateti men who Controlled the govemmeni, the United Slates would have been groaily retarded in its advancement or perhaps never woulci have gained its independence from Englanci. Every student who attends our new school should realize how iorlunate he is ihal he can study the subjects he chooses under ihe, guidance oi teachers who are sincere in wanting to teach him. He should remember lhai there are places where young people learn only what ihe slaie wishes them i0 leam, However, cducuiion does not cease upon graduation from an instiluiion of higher learning. It goes on and on lhroughuui onc's cniire hie. Hardly a day passes ihat 0110 does not learn somcihing new.
