Text from Pages 1 - 112 of the 1977 volume:

' n Cynthia and Hazel were both well- known youth in the Humansville community before their death in August, 1976. Cynthia had attended Humansville since first grade and would have been a graduate in the class of 1979. Even though Hazel was not living in Humansville at the time of her death, she did go to school here for a few years. She would have been in Cynthia’s class. Karen and Kevin Wylie were third graders at Humansville when their lives were taken in a tragic accident on September 24, 1976. Karen and Kevin were extremely bright and well liked by classmates and friends of their community. We hope that this memorial will touch the hearts of those who knew them well. Fantastic! Great! Enthusiastic! Dynamic! Easy going! Cute! Dedicated! Nice! Sweet! Kind! Far out! These are just a few words students and teachers have used to describe Miss Francka in her six years of dedicat- ed service as business education teacher at Humansville High. Miss Francka came to Humansville High in 1971 where she spent her next six years known as 4Miss Irene.44 Although Miss Francka had the title of “teacher” she became much more to those who knew her. Not only was she dedicated to her job. but she always had time for “YOU.44 These pictures of Miss Francka outside go along with the natural atmosphere she always presented everywhere she went. Miss Francka, we hope you willl enjoy this yearbook as much as all of us have enjoyed the last six. Anyway. “Miss Irene,44 THIS ONE S FOR YOU 1977 Yearbook Staff Future Tigers Are Mr. Wright Elementary Principal 8 Mrs. Tennant Kindergarten Remedial Math Mrs. Payne Kindergarten Assistant Mrs. Griffin Fifth Grade Mrs. Stewart Assistant Speech Therapist 9 Shawn Kenney Ronnie Leonard Dianell Meadors Oavid Murray Chandra Noteware Rusty Payne Mary Purrington Scott Rains Alford Rummel Randy Scott Charlotte Smith Billy Spears Sheila Stacy Linda Steffens Kellie Woods Trisha Zimmerman Kathy Ahlers Paula Bledsoe Michael Booton Daphne Campbell Dennis Coffin Robby Crawford Laura Cushman David Cutbirth Debra Fero Michael Floyd Lela Frazier Tracey Garretson Rocka Huebner Becky Jenkins Sharon Wahnoutka Brenda Wilson Duane Steward Bryan Tennison Lisa Thomas 10 - Pam Allison Jonathan Boon John Boyle Timmy Bradshaw Mark Gregory Burch Sherry Churning Tina Coffin Arlee Cutbirth Leonard Cutbirth Tonia Fero Robert Floyd Harold Greenlee Hydie Huebner Brian Keller Mark David Keller Roy Locke i r Lisa Reprecht Christie Stacy Anne Tillery s t Michael Troxel Lori Worley 11 Cynthia Ahiers Ronald Bays Robert Beeves Becky Bilsbarrow Terry Blanchard Angela Boon Patrick Brewer Dawn Campbell Jimmy Chaney Rodney Christensen Marvin Churning Mickel Clare Trevor Coble Leslie Cooper Dean Cox Tommy Crawford Joey Crenshaw Darla Daniels Ronnie Derringer Paula Harrelson Jeffrey Hudgens Jeff Hughes Darrell Jackson Michael Kenney Glenda Lake Richard Leonard Nicky Morello Lori Murphree Linda Mustain 12 Melody Ahlers Sheila Baker John Bilsbarrow Tony Bradshaw Mike Burkhart Dewayne Coffin Becky Piper Cynthia Rains Chris Revers Mike Steffens Allen Tennison Dean Thomas Chris Watson Kandee Windsor Lynn Witt Claudean Comstock David Fero Julia Frazier Janice Greene Amy Hanson Angela Hanson Michael Hargis Dennis Hinkle Kevin Keller Ricky Mayfield Michelle McDowell Michelle Miller Ann Mustin Ricky Nickels 13 Bryan Allison Eddie Brown Kevin Butcher Wayne Clare Deana Cox Kimberly Crenshaw Daleena Downing Dennis Fust Kristy Rains Karen Sawyers William Smart Mark Stacy Allen Steward Scotty Troxel David Gentry Justin Grindstaff Charles Huebner Robbie Hughes Steven Keller Frances Lake William Lay Hank Leonard Kevin Lovewell Wendy McShane Greg Means Bobby Midles Larry Payne Freddy Purrington NOT PICTURED Sheila Manor Sharrell Vance Robert Voelker Melvin Wendleton Diane Whitlock Jerry Wilkerson Steven Wohnoutka Allan Anderson James Austin Sherri Barrymore Karen Bell LaDonna Boyle Mike Burrow Charlotte Churning Becky Cutbirth Mike Davis Sandra Fero Becky Goff Sherry Huebner Phillis Lee Glen Locke Rebecca Long Denise Mank Mark Miller Bobby Nelson Brian Pitts Pam Rains Belinda Routh Melissa Scott Terri Spears Jeff Stacy Shelly Stacy Sherry Stacy Mike Swearingm Jamie Tarwater Gary Tharp Linda Troxel i f t h Richard Weaver NOT PICTURED Danny Wohnoutka Denise Manor Greg Ayres Jett Baker Ricky Bays Shelley Bilsbarrow Dean Blazek Darla Campbell Raymond Christenser Nancy Clare Steven Davis Arlene Floyd Debbie Gannaway Tannya Grindstatt Bobby Hanson Theresa Hunter Beth Locke Kelly Mank Jackie Meyers Michele Midles John Murphree David Piper Steve Pitkin Curtis Purrington Patty Rains Deanna Reser David Reyes Lora Ruprecht David Sawyers Christina (Hughes) Scott Becky Stovall Billy Stovall Karen Swigert Deann Squibb Kathy Tinsley Mary Voelker Kenny Witt Connie Wollard I I - rrr Catherine Libeer Jeanette Locke Steven Manor Charley Mitchum Jeff Patton Debbie Piper Barbara Robinson Shellie Robinson Rick Rogers Sheldon Rone Donna Rummel Jeanie Skopec Gary Steffens Kipper Tillery Terri Troxel Genny Voelker Kenneth Wade Linda Windsor NOT PICTURED Denise Smith 17 Randy Burns Denise Campbell Paul Campbell Dale Chaney Allan Clabough Dean Fust Sandra Garretson David Goff Joe Green Rebecca Hampton Mark Hinkle Mike Huebner Jim Hulett Patty Kauffman Donald Keller Sandra Kenney Sandra Lay Lonnie Locke Mark Means Theresa Payne Raejean Purrington Paula Rains Denise Reser Sandra Revers Gerry Rima Kim Routh Ricky Scott Dennis Shoemaker Judy Skopec Travis Spears Karla Anderson Tim Aguilar Jeff Ayres Timmy Baker James Beeves Marjorie Bolen Verna Boyle Vernon Brown Ricky Stacy Raymond Swigert Jeanette Thomas Lori Voelker Richard Watson Gary Wilson Sharon Wollard 18 town? To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true. To think only of the best, to work only for the best and expect only the best. To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own. To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future. To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile. To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others.
