Leroy Qualls, Health Ed. There were several changes in the athletic depart- ment this year. Mrs. Baker, formerly the junior high girls basketball coach, is now working with the ele- mentary girls. Mr. Wilson continued as the elemen- tary boys coach. Mr. Hood moved into the position of senior high boys and girls basketball coach. He had previously worked with the junior high. He also became the baseball and softball coach. Mr. Qualls now has the position of junior high basketball coach. Mr. Miller is still the wrestling coach and is now head football coach. Mr. Russell is his assistant. Linda Baker, Careers Tom Hood, English Larry Miller, History David Russell, Drivers Ed. High School And Junior High Faculty As the 1980-81 school year comes to an end, I hope that the staff and students can look back on many accomplishments. Besides maintaining a classroom and devoting their time to teaching, the faculty also helped the seniors to raise money by participating in the Seniors vs Faculty Basketball Game. They he- roically put their lives on the line by attempting to play basketball. In their attempt, however,the ladies lost to the senior girls by only 4 points. The men defeated the senior boys by a score that is best forgotten. 24
