Pausing for some last minute advice from her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Miller, Suzanne Miller embarks on her journey to the National SCA Conference in Dallas, Texas. Sophomores Low Men on Totem Pole O nly one thing was missing from the hallowed halls of Huguenot as school opened — the bewildered and dazed expressions of first day freshmen wandering the grounds. Sophomore, juniors, and seniors, however, with their traditional greetings for all, made.up for the absence of a class of new faces. As the first day wore into second, and second into third, new experiences became routine. Everyone became accustomed to hearing his name mispronounced on the rolls, losing and finding those all important yellow book slips, and becoming once again a ‘‘Falcon.”’ No fishing is allowed in ‘‘Huguenot Lake’’ according to the sign held by Robley Jones.

Melissa Moss, Becky Moss and Kathy Boatwright get into the swing of things by pulling up weeds for ‘‘Operation Freshstart.”’
