Dedication Mr. G. H. Reid Now folk,'' is heard almost every day across the loudspeaker. Too few are there in the field of education who are genuinely interested in the pupil as a whole, rather than in just his capacity as a student. When such interest isshown, the student strives to improve himself and live up to the confidence that others have in him. One such person who has given much of his time and energy to guide, encourage, and instruct, isour principal,G. H. Reid. As a man dedicated to his work, he has served the county and community for the past 30 years. A graduate of William and Mary, Mr. Reid was the principal of Manchester High School for 29 years before being transferred to the county's new Huguenot High School when it opened in September, 1960. In appreciation of his faithfulservice in the county's educational system, we, the 1961 Talon staff, dedicate this TALON, the first Huguenot yearbook, toour princiapl,G. H. Reid.
