, , i s .A YL J Clyeffed The Kayettes is the girls division of the Kansas Association for Youth and is a branch of the Kansas State Activities Association. Some of the local outstanding projects were giving of food and gifts at Christmas time and the U.D.F. Drive fUnited Defence Fund Drive., Perhaps the most important world service project was the contribution to C.A.R.E1. which went for food in Korea. The six objectives of Kayettes are: Religion, Service, Personality, Leadership, Appreciation and Recreation. The most enjoyable and outstanding week in school is W.P.A. fWomen Pay Alll and Crazy Week sponsored by the Kayettes. There are 89 girls in the club this year. The officers are as follows: President, Dorothy Harperi Vice-president, Gayle Parsonsg Secretary, Jessie Thompson: Treasury, Kay Morgan, and the sponsors are Mrs. Garrett and Miss Manske.
