VOCATIONAL TRAINING Kiamichi Vo-Tech's main purpose is to create a bond between the students and industry through technical education. The other purposes of the vocational classes are to develope leadership, a respect for the dignity of work, create enthusiasm and to promote high standards in ethics, work, scholarship, and safety. Some of the benefits of these vocational classes are to bring together young men and women with common interest for an exchange of ideas, a discussion of problems, and the opportunity to work toward common purposes, and to promote leadership in the student. They have the motto of: Preparing for Leadership in the World of Work. One of the characteristics of the active vocational student is the responsibility for sharing business at hand. They take pride in the things that they do. They have poise, confidence, and the capability to do the job required. They give credit to others for their contributions.
