ADMINISTRATION MR. ARMSTRONG Superintendent MISS AWBRY Secretary High School days are days of golden op- portunity: opportunity to acquire knowledge that will lead to greater accomplishments: op- portunity to develop ethical character that will create habits of responsible conduct and de- pendability for performance of duty. High School days are stepping stones to higher edu- cation and to responsible citizenship. Under the auspices of formal education, the search for knowledge can maintain one standard--excellence. To achieve such a standard, faculty members and students must encourage an atmosphere conducive to learn- ing. Improvement of new skills is the natural result of this type of environment. The mounting complexities of this modern society offer great challenges. These are met through individual study, close contact with faculty members, and classroom experiences. May these be your goals in Hugo High School for 1968. MR. PARKER Principal MRS. BRA UDRICK Secretary DR. WHITE President MR. BAGGETT Vice-President Board of Education MISS AWBRY Clerk MR. We, the Seniors of 1968, re- turned with a feeling of importance and accomplishment, large in spirit and enthusiasm, and with a desire to gain an education. This has been an unforgettable year for all of us. In our hearts is a special place filled with mem- ories that can never be equalled nor lost: pep assemblies, ball games, the Halloween Carnival, classroom activities, and other school events.
