Hooper, P. Pierce, J. Moore, M. Verwer. HUSKIES 20 CLUB This group is in charge of all-school activities and controls the 110011 dances, minor sports, and ticket sales of major games. It was organized in December, 1944, but failed to function until almost April of the next year. Now were in full swing and running smoothly. Mr. Hallman was to be our adviser but due to his sports, the Jr. Play. and the Dance Committee we thought it unfair to ask him to add another burden to his load. so Mr. Gorman and Mr. Allen Offered to help us out. The Student Council was organized in the spring semester of 1945. The member- ship consists of the Principal, Dean of Girls. Dean of Men, a representative from each of the Classes: Freshman. Sophomore and Junior and two from the Senior Class, one of Which, Sam Kingery, acts as Chief Justice. The purpose of the council to make de- cisions 0n violations of Good Citizenship rules. Once a week the members meet in the Biology Room to hear cases and serve sentences. Page 23

If one is a member of the society for six semester's, one of Which is in the senior year, a life membership is attained. The Iota Tau Pi is a local honor society.
