Mr. Paul A. Paulhamus CLASS OF 1968: We in America know that education is a necessity and that a great nation can be built only on a strong foundation. We believe that the schools help to build that strong foundation for America by help- ing all American Youth to acquire the fundamen- tals, loyalties, habits and attitudes needed by them to participate in the activities and responsibilities of their communities and their nation. Let each of you help to provide and maintain all of the benefits of education for the children of America to which they are justly entitled. May you be good examples for youth by striving to exemplify the highest of morality, honesty, sin- cerity, industry and faithfulness. Best wishes for the future. Lewis L . Creveling Principals CLASS OF 1968: Have you ever noticed that when a man gets near the top of the ladder of success, he can see a few friends and fellow workers who have been helping him on, and who now are steadying the ladder for him? The truly great person readily admits the myth in the self-made man . Have you considered how many friends made your present success possible ? Congratulations on your present achievement. However, you can and must do better. Recog- nizing the next important job ahead shows wisdom, and knowing how to do it means you have the skill but doing it is the greatest virtue of all. Paul A. Paulhamus Supervising Principal Mr. Lewis L. Creveling
