16 Administration For many years, Hughes High School has had a rich tradition tor producing high quality students. Hughes' graduates have taken skills learned at this institution and developed themselves into successful individuais. Many of Hughes' graduates are Leading the Way as educators. doctors, lawyers, politicians, engineers, and etc. I am proud to have served for sixteen years as the captain of Hughes' education team. Hopefully, I have been able to contribute to the success enjoyed by students and staff members during my tenure at Hughes. As we pass on the Educational Torchi' from the traditional neighborhood school to the new alternative center, I believe that the new educational opportunities will prepare students better for the 21st century.
