lnrnonucrlonf .J High School! A phrase that suggests glamour to one who has not yet reached this most wonderful period in life, a term which brings a wistful smile to the face of one who has long ago passed it. To a freshman, lost in a maze of newness, high school is a mix- ture of confusion and apprehension. With the coming of the second year, things begin to take form and shape. The sophomore feels as if he has a place in his school. Then at last you are a junior, an upperclassman. You know your way around. You're up on all the tricks of the trade - or at least, you think you are. Of course the most important year is the final one. The senior has to set a shining example for the rest of the school. The senior knows just about everything, his way around, everyone who's worth knowing, and the right remark to say at the right time. By this time he's waded through six or seven romances, he's de- veloped a firm political stand, and has a definite plan for the future. June rolls around and the senior begins to think about the four years which lie behind him. He remembers how he complained about the stacks of homework and the unsympathetic teachers and that dreadful alarm clock in the morning. He remembers these things, not bitterly, but sentimentally. It's not the last time he'll reminisce. He'll look back myriad times during his life and he'll realize that high school time was truly a happy time. . Gyjqgff ffl M' Page tht
