Ralph I.. Loudenslager Mr. Ralph L. Loudenslager serves as the efficient counselor for Hughes boys. His main job is to try and secure part-time and summer jobs for students who seek employment, and to help underclassmen prepare programs for the forthcoming school year. His talents are also appre- ciated by the seniors who rely on him for help in deciding their futures. HHRDWDRHIDGCDUD Clyde Hall is the patient and sympathetic gentleman who listens to the absence and tardy excuses of tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grade boys. Besides being a math teacher, he is also the invaluable financial adviser of the Annual. Clyde Hall Page twelve Margaret Hall Miss Margaret Hall serves as the capable counselor for the Hughes tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grade girls. She helps the girls by giving them aid in planning their futures. SELDRS GUIDE STUDEDT BODY Besides being a very prominent Latin teacher at Hughes, Miss Gladys Busch is the very understanding and competent ad- viser for the freshman girls. 1953 is Mr. Ben Fulks fifth year as the Assistant Principal of Hughes. He is sponsor of the Hughes Club, adviser of Freshman boys, and is in charge of the boys who work in the Book Room and the Book Shop. A group of girls devote one of their free bells each day to help out in his office. They are, from left to right: Marilyn Harris, Carol Hochstrasser, Carol Withers, Pat Klein, Mary Lou Best. Her other duties include sponsoring the Student Council, and aiding all students who seek scholarship information.
