HRSITY BASKETBALL If Cummings High School were closed down today, one thing that would definitely be remembered is our basketball program. Cummings has always had one of the finest basketball teams in the state, due mostly to Coach Jerry Woodside and his ability to make the best use of his players in any situation. The players themselves should not be overlooked by any means. Cummings' young men work hard to play the way they do, and most of their best players make a name for themselves in their junior year, leaving a good continuity between teams each year. Cummings won the Holiday Classic and had another great season. 46 - SportsfVarsity Basketball
