lt Spirit week was the week of October 22 through 27. They ranged from that of a bum to elegant evening Lots of planning, working on floats, and choosing gowns. One Cavalier, Teresa Cheek, showed out- attendants and sponsors started before this time, Standing creativity and spirit throughout the week, but spirit week was the official beginning of home- and was chosen by the varsity cheerleaders as the coming. Q5oIb mebal performance Homecoming, the Cavolympics, was the culmi- nation of weeks and weeks of hard work. Hard work on behalf of the football team was rewarded with a smashing victory over North Surry. Hard work by the freshman class gained their float the distinction of being the best.
