iqh L0 The High I.Q. team not only participated in the High I.Q. contest, but the Quiz Bowl as well. The Quiz Bowl was a local competition held on Feb- ruary 2, and the High I.Q. Bowl was the following Saturday, February 9. the team spent many long hours practicing for these two events, but the knowl edge gained is never wast- ed. UNIOR MARSHALS The 1984 Junior Marshals, this year's Top Ten, served at last year's graduation. Civimn SCl'l0lARSl'IiP Awlxnded Sara Crabtree, one of many applicants, won the Burlington Civitan Scholarship. The contest consisted of filling out an application and writing an essay on future goals of her life. Music Scl1olARsl1ip Awxxnded Angela Doss has received a four-year scholarship in the field of music from Elon College. She auditioned against other talented students. Momaliud Nominee Af CHS This is the first year that Cummings has had any representation at the district competition for the Morehead Scholarship. Beth Warren has the distinction for being Cummings' first representative.
