They sponsored a lady for Christmas cheer, participated in the regional and state proficiency events, and they made baby clothes and toys to give to the new mothers in the hospi- tal on Mother's Day. ln February they had a dance for members and their guests. EC.A. The Fellowship of Christian Athletes has been an active club for over five years and this year was no exception. Several of the club officers went to a convention in the spring of '84 to learn more about EC.A. At Christmas EC.A. members collected food, clothes, and other household items for Teen Challenge in Greensboro. The club also helped with the C.H.S. Blood Drive. Cummings EC.A. worked with Drew Van Horn and neighboring EC.A. groups this year to coordinate the annual Weekend of Champions at Elon College. The club also planned a beach trip in the spring. Meetings were on Monday nights at 8:00 with Bible Study at 7:30, Wednesday mornings at 8:00, and officers meetings at 8:00 on Friday mornings. Under the direction of Sherry Puckett, Bernard Faulk, Glenda Baumgarner, and with the help of Randy X, EC.A. was a successful club this year. YAC The Youth Advisory Council has devoted a great deal of time and effort into activities concerning menus and seasonal decorations for the cafeteria. The success of this club is due to its active members. The Monogram Club gives recognition to students that have worked hard in sports. They are rewarded with a letter during the Sports Banquet. Let's not forget our bus drivers. We should give them a hand for putting up with the yelling of children, the bad weather, and the break down of buses. lt is a great honor to have such dependable men driving our buses.
