One yardstick for measuring the effec- tiveness of a group is by the length of time it serves the people. This is true of our school board, superintendent, and staff They have served us well for a number of years. Our top administrators continue each year to actively seek excellence in all of the schools in our system. They are eager to help whenever and wherever they are needed. A school system with- out top-quality leadership is doomed to mediocrity. We are quite fortunate that we do not fall into this category. ff! l I Dr. James E.
