Somewhere in the building there are ghosts. They laugh, shake hands, clutch diplomas, and here and there they cry. Joy or sadness? Probably both. And if one listens close enough, he can still hear them shuffling out the gym door for the last time, as students: laugh- ing, clutching, crying. Where are those moments | threw away; moments growing to years and where am I? Music calls me back again and | am here seeking, listening, looking. And like a wave that returns persistantly on, those new ghosts return for one more year, life defying death, energy moving apathy. An old teacher stands in his door shaking his head and mumbling to no one in particular, “It’s just not fair, is it? | keep getting older and they stay the same.” Try to stop a wave.
