It starts early with—months of planning Fund raising—Themes— Decorations—Food— And then the reality hits you, It’s tonight! The Junior-Senior Prom. Your nerves go on edge and Your stomach gets heavy. You arrive—An what was is no more. The halls of learning are transformed. It’s like a dream world—and the Everyday people aren’t everyday, Not tonight! Then it is over And somehow you know that all the Work was worth it. And you had the “Embers” And a beautiful night to savor.
