Preparation of the annual this year proved to be a tremendous challenge for the staff members. We began the year blindly unaware of the amount of work that is needed to produce a good annual. The key was working together as a team toward the goal of capturing the mood of Cummings High School, 1971-72. Many people whose names do not appear on these pages gave their time and, most of all, their interest in the spirit of ‘‘l care’, participating on both the business and layout staffs. Special recognition should be paid to Mr. Richard Smith, Mr. Tom Jenrette, Mrs. Aileene Richards, and Rita Long for their time and effort put into the annual towards making it a Success. But, without the student body of Cummings High School there would be no faces to fill the pages, no personalities to reflect, no fantasies to become reality.
