What made us, us? What made us different from other high school students? We had Daddy Marshburn With an interest in the total student, but insight to cope with special problems, with open minded administra- tion, but with firm adherence to fairness, with a love for competition, but an ability to win or lose gracefully, with a vibrant smile to cheer up a dragging day, and when Spirits are really low who but O. H. could say with so much expression and enthusiasm ‘You're looking good!” He has endeared himself to teachers and students alike. Whenever we needed advice he could be counted on to give us wise council and answers to our many questions. Mr. Marshburn is an outstanding assistant principal, yet his interest in students extends beyond the class- room. He has an innate ability to recognize the true potential of his students and an ultimate objective to en- courage their awareness and utilization of their talents. We are better people because we know him.
