It sponsors programs holding school dances, supports school games, organizes a cheering section, conducts rallies, participates in the Oxnard District Council, and keeps order in assemblies. It provides programs and pays other expenses of the student body such as courtesies, decorations for games, etc, with the money collected by the sale of student body activity cards. ASB promotes good sportsmanship among students, provides training in citizenship and represents the students in county and state organizations, also it provides a welcoming committee for new students through! the year. SPED (Special Education), is one of the more active clubs on campus. We have many fund raising activities to support our Special Olympics Program. Our Special Olympic Program includes a Ski Team, Bowling Team, Track Field and Swimming. These athletes compete on a county, state, and national level. Other SPED activities include field trips, awards banquets and special events. There are 47 active members and 3 sponsors. Sped spins a profit.
