It sponsors programs holding school dances, supports school games, organizes a cheering section, conducts rallies, participates in the Oxnard District Council, and keeps order in assemblies. It provides programs and pays other expenses of the student body such as courtesies, decorations for games, etc, with the money collected by the sale of student body activity cards. ASB promotes good sportsmanship among students, provides training in citizenship and represents the students in county and state organizations, also it provides a welcoming committee for new students through! the year. DRAMA Drama 117 The Drama Club organizes fund raising activities for the plays and is in charge of a big candy bar sale at the end of the year. Once a year the club takes a field trip to L.A. to watch a Broadway play. It also has a club Christmas party and a party at the end of the year to pass out awards. The Mime Troupare the white faces on campus. This is a separate part of the Drama Club. They do pantomime shows on campus and go to other schools and the Esplanade to perform.
